Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stewing hen
4 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. shortening
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
yellow food coloring
Preparation
-
Cook chicken in pot of water.
Make sure water covers chicken.
Cook until tender.
Remove chicken and pick meat off bones.
Keep in bowl while making dumplings.
