Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 eggs, separated
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. plain flour
1 c. nuts
1 c. coconut
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
Preparation

Sift flour and soda together.
Cream butter, Crisco and sugar. Add egg yolks, flour, milk and vanilla.
Then add nuts and coconut.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Bake 20 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0 in three (9-inch) pans.
