Coleslaw - Icebox - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. cabbage, shredded
    1 large bell pepper, chopped
    2 large onions, shredded
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Boil and pour over cabbage mixture after the 2 hours.
    Let stand at least 24 hours in refrigerator.
    The longer it stands, the better.
    Makes approximately 1 gallon.
