Divinity Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. water
    3 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine the first three ingredients in heavy saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat until clear, stirring constantly.
    Cook, without stirring, until 240\u00b0 on candy thermometer or until threads.
