Noodle Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. oil
    6 c. chicken broth
    8 oz. fine egg noodles
    1 tsp. salt
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli or fresh
    1 minced clove garlic
    6 c. milk
    1 lb. American cheese
    pepper
Preparation
    Saute onion in oil for 3 minutes.
    Heat broth to boiling and gradually add cooked noodles.
    Cook, uncovered, for 3 minutes. Add broccoli and garlic and cook for 4 minutes.
    Add milk, cheese and pepper.
    Cook until cheese melts, stirring constantly.
    Serves 12.
