Egg Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. plain flour, sifted
    5 tsp. water
    1 c. shortening (Crisco)
    1 tsp. salt
    5 tsp. water
    1/2 tsp. vinegar
    1 egg, well beaten
Preparation
    Measure flour and salt; cut in shortening.
    Mix egg, water and vinegar; add gradually to flour as you stir lightly with fork. Roll out and place in pans.
    Should make 3 crusts.
    Bake in 475\u00b0 oven until lightly browned.
    For unbaked pies, prick with fork.
