Alice'S Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. boneless rump roast
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1 1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. fennel seed
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 tsp. anise seed
    1/4 tsp. marjoram
    1/2 tsp. m.s.g.
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1 small can tomato paste
    1/2 tsp. Good Seasons Italian dressing mix
    4 c. water
Preparation
    Mix water and all seasonings in large roaster and stir thoroughly.
    Add meat.
    Put roast in oven at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Reduce heat to 300\u00b0 and cook for about 3 hours.
    Cool thoroughly. Slice thin and reheat in sauce before serving.
