Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    6 eggs
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. flour, sifted
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    4 tsp. lemon extract
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately, starting with flour, then buttermilk, ending with flour.
    Bake in greased and floured tube pan in 300\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 hours.
