Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. self-rising flour (approximately)
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. shortening (about the size of a large egg)
    2 c. sweet milk or 1 c. buttermilk and 1 c. sweet milk
Preparation
Sift self-rising flour into a wooden bread tray.
Fill to almost full (about 5 cups).
Make a doodle-hole in the middle of the flour.
Add 1 tablespoon of sugar and 2 packages dry yeast. Add shortening.
    Heat milk to lukewarm.
Work it in by hand. After working dough well, place it in a warm place until double in size (about 1 hour).
    Punch down.
Make rolls out to desired size. Let these set 1 hour.
Bake at 450\u00b0 until golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes.
    Butter while hot.
