Black Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sq. baking chocolate
1 c. milk, scalded
1 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. shortening
1 egg
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Melt chocolate in milk.
Set aside to cool.
Cream sugar and shortening.
Add egg.
Add chocolate and milk mixture.
Mix well. Add dry ingredients, sifted together, and vanilla.
Bake in greased square cake pan at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Batter is very thin.
If lumpy, put through sieve.
Delicious, moist and inexpensive.
