Strawberry Mousse - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. strawberries
    2 c. heavy cream
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped, toasted almonds
Preparation
    Wash, hull and crush strawberries.
    Whip the cream until thickened.
    Gradually add sugar, beating constantly.
    Add salt and beat until cream is stiff.
    Fold in strawberries and almonds.
    Turn into 2-quart mold.
    Freeze until firm.
    Unmold onto serving plate. Garnish with whole strawberries and mint sprigs, if desired. Serves 6 to 8.
