Ingredients

2 eggs
1 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/3 c. oil
Preparation

Separate eggs.
Beat egg whites until stiff; set aside.
Beat egg yolks.
Add milk, baking powder, salt, sugar and flour.
Beat well.
Add shortening.
Fold in beaten egg whites.
Cook on hot waffle iron.
