Louisiana Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1 c. butter
1 tsp. maple flavoring
1 tsp. butter flavoring
4 eggs, beaten
3 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Place sugar and syrup in heavy saucepan over medium heat and cook until thick, about 15 minutes.
Add butter and flavorings; stir.
Blend in eggs with pastry whip.
Eggs must be blended quickly into hot sugar mixture.
Add pecans; pour into two unbaked pie shells.
Bake at 300\u00b0 until pie shell is golden brown.
