Cold Oven Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1/4 c. butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. butternut flavoring
Preparation
    Cream the sugar, shortening and butter.
    Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour. Add salt and baking powder gradually with milk and flavoring.
    Grease a
    10-inch tube pan and put cake in cold oven. Turn to bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes, then check.
