Rice Krispies Treats - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) bag marshmallows
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
    food coloring (optional)
Preparation
    Melt butter and marshmallows over medium heat.
    Add vanilla and food coloring.
    Stir in Rice Krispies, a little at a time. Coat Krispies well.
    Press into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan or other suitable dish.
    Refrigerate and cut into squares.
