Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1 c. water
dash of salt
maple flavoring to taste
Preparation

Combine sugar, water, salt and corn syrup in a saucepan and bring to a boil; cover.
Boil gently 10 minutes or until syrup spins a thread (keeping pan covered prevents formation of crystals around sides of pan).
Add maple flavoring to taste.
