Strawberry Crunch Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. thin pretzels, broken sticks
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. frozen whipped topping
    1 pkg. (6 oz.) strawberry gelatin
    2 c. hot water
    2 pkg. (10 oz. each) frozen strawberries
Preparation
    Combine pretzel pieces, margarine and 3 tablespoons sugar. Spread in 9 x 13-inch greased baking dish.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for seven (7) minutes.
    Remove and allow to cool thoroughly.
    Blend softened cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar thoroughly.
    Fold in whipped topping.
    Spread evenly over first layer.
    Dissolve gelatin in hot water; allow to cool to room temperature.
    Add strawberries. Spoon evenly over cream cheese layer.
    Chill until firm.
