Raisin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. seedless raisins
    1 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    pinch of salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine raisins, boiling water, soda and butter in bowl.
    Let stand overnight.
    Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
    Fill 3 greased loaf pans 1/2 full.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until bread tests done.
    Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
    Remove to wire rack to cool.
    Yield: 3 loaves.
