Hamburger Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground beef
3 slices bacon, diced
1/2 chopped onion (optional)
3/4 tsp. salt
1 medium pkg. wide egg noodles
1/4 tsp. paprika
dash of pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. cream (sour)
Preparation

Brown ground beef with bacon.
(Optional:
Add onion and cook until tender, but not brown.)
Drain excess fat.
Add seasonings to meat mixture.
Stir in undiluted soup.
Cook slowly, uncovered, 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Stir in sour cream and heat through; do not boil.
Prepare noodles as directed.
Serve stroganoff over hot buttered noodles.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
