Potato Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    leftover mashed potatoes (2 1/2 to 3 c.)
    1 beaten egg
    2 Tbsp. onion flakes
    1 tsp. onion powder
    salt and pepper to taste
    fat
    1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Fluff up potatoes with an egg beater (or hand mixer).
    Mix in flour, beaten egg and seasonings.
    Shape into flat cakes and brown slowly in a little fat in skillet, turning until done evenly on each side.
