Our Favorite Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 potatoes, washed and peeled
    1 stick butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 tsp. parsley
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 to 2 cans evaporated milk (I use 2)
Preparation
    Cut potatoes into bite size pieces.
    Cover onion and potatoes with water.
    Cook until potatoes are done.
    Add butter, salt, pepper and parsley to soup.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add evaporated milk, stirring the whole time, until liquid has thickened.
    This soup is wonderful!
