Sweetheart Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 Tbsp. plain gelatin
    1/2 c. cold water
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 c. chopped cherries
    2 pkg. cream cheese
    2 Tbsp. cherry juice
Preparation
    Heat pineapple with sugar.
    Soften gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water.
    Stir into pineapple mixture.
    Add lemon juice, cherry juice and cream cheese; mix and cool.
    Add chopped cherries. Chill.
