Banana Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. pancake mix (one which includes egg and shortening)
1/3 to 1/2 (10 oz.) bottle lemon-lime beverage
powdered sugar
oil (for frying)
Preparation

In mixing bowl, add 1 cup pancake mix and gradually add beverage, stirring with fork until blended.
Batter should not be too thin; keep it more thick.
Peel bananas and cut into 3/4 to 1/2-inch slices; dip into batter and fry until golden brown, about 3 minutes, turning to brown both sides.
(Electric skillet is perfect at 375\u00b0.)
Remove bananas with slotted spoon from oil and drain on paper towels.
Sprinkle generously with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
