Caramel Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 large sweet potatoes
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
salt

Preparation

Peel and quarter potatoes; boil in water until tender.
Pour off water leaving just enough to cover potatoes. Add other ingredients and cook until syrup is thick.
