Hot Pepper Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup hot fresh peppers, ground
    6-1/2 cups sugar
    1-1/2 cups apple cider or vinegar
    1 bottle Certo
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Seed and grind peppers fine, using rubber gloves.
    Mix peppers, sugar, vinegar and lemon juice in a large pot.
    Bring to a boil.
    Remove from heat and cool 5 minutes.
    Add Certo; mix thoroughly.
    Let stand a few minutes; stir again.
    Pour into sterilized jars.
    Yields about 12 baby food jars.
