Angle Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 egg whites
    1 1/2 c sugar
    1 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp almond flavoring
    1/2 tsp vanilla
    1 c cake flour
Preparation
    Sift flour 3 times. Beat egg whites, slightly and add tartar, vanilla and almond and beat until meringue holds soft peaks. Beat in sugar, 2 Tbsp at a time. Continue to beat, turning bowl until meringue holds. Sift 1/4 of flour over whites. Fold in remaining flour by fourths. Place in an ungreased tube pan.
