Cheese Barslubbock, Texas - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 egg, separated
2 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese (softended)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sugar, divided
2 8 oz. pkg. crescent rolls
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Mix together egg yolks, cream cheese, vanilla and 1 c. sugar. Stretch 1 pkg. of crescent rolls to fill bottom of a 9 X 13-inch pan.
Spread cheese mixture over rolls.
Stretch second pkg. rolls over cheese mixture.
Beat egg whites until frothy, then brush on top of rolls.
Combine remaining 1/2 c. sugar, cinnamon and nuts. Sprinkle on top and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Cut into squares.
