Southern Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    2 heaping Tbsp. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    bacon drippings to season
    greased skillet
Preparation
    Combine buttermilk, egg, cornmeal, flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
    Mix well, then add 3 to 4 tablespoons bacon drippings. Pour into a very hot well-greased iron skillet.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes, until brown.
