Low-Fat Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. All-Bran cereal
    1 1/4 c. skim or 2% milk
    1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. applesauce
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon in a large bowl.
    Mix cereal, milk and sugar in another bowl. Let stand 10 minutes. Stir in eggs and applesauce. Add to flour mixture. Stir or mix in mixer (batter will be lumpy).
    Spoon into cupcake tins sprayed with Pam or similar product.
    Makes 12 with tins 2/3 full.
    Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
