Grandma'S Mincemeat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. sausage
    2 lb. raisins
    2 Tbsp. allspice
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 pt. water
    3 lb. sugar
    1 gal. sour cherries
    1 gal. chopped apples
    1 pt. cider or wine
Preparation
    Cook sausage, wine and water.
    Add other ingredients and cook about 15 minutes.
    Put in jars and process.
    Makes about 8 quarts.
