Barbecued Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. spareribs
    salt and pepper to taste
    3/4 c. sliced onion
    2 Tbsp. fat
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 tsp. mustard
    1 c. catsup
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Brown spareribs with salt and pepper.
    Cook onion in fat until golden.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Heat to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer for 20 minutes.
    Pour over spareribs.
    Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Yield: 6 servings.
