Hot Wassail - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2/3 c. sugar
3 cinnamon
2 c. water
6 cloves
1 1/2 qt. apple cider
1 c. hot water
1/2 qt. pineapple juice
1 small can frozen orange juice
handful red hot candy
slice of orange on top (if desired)

Preparation

Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes the first 4 ingredients.
Add apple cider, hot water, pineapple, orange juice, red hot candy and orange slice.
May put in a crock-pot to keep hot enough to serve.
