Cheese Squash Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. cut up squash
    1 c. cold water
    few drops lemon juice
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. margarine
    pinch of salt
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Arrange squash in greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan so squash are no more than 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick in pan.
    Mix water and lemon juice.
    Pour over squash.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon.
    Make topping by combining sugar, flour, salt and margarine.
    Work with fork to form a crumbly mixture.
    Mix in grated cheese.
    Cover top of squash with topping and press down hard.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 (325\u00b0 glass pan) for 45 minutes or until light brown.
    Broil for 5 to 10 minutes to brown top for crispness, careful not to burn.
