Autumn Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    4 c. water
    1 c. chopped carrots
    1 c. diced celery
    1 c. cubed potatoes
    1 to 2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. bottled Kitchen Bouquet
    pepper to taste
    1 bay leaf
    1 (15 oz.) can diced tomatoes or 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
Preparation
    In Dutch oven or 3-quart stock pot, brown meat; drain.\tAdd onion and cook until tender.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer 1 hour or until vegetables are tender.
