Fettucini Alfredo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 stick butter
    1 pt. heavy cream
    1 c. fresh Romano or Parmesan cheese
    1 egg yolk
    salt and pepper
    1 pkg. fettucini noodles
Preparation
    Boil fettucini noodles in lightly salted water with a dash of oil added to keep from sticking.
    Boil until tender.
    Melt butter in a large frying pan.
    Beat egg yolk.
    Add cream.
    Beat until blended and add to butter.
    Heat to medium for 1 or 2 minutes. Add drained noodles and toss lightly, adding salt and pepper to taste and 3/4 cup of cheese.
    Use remaining cheese for serving. Serve immediately.
