Barbecued Roast Venison - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 4 lb. prepared meat
    1 tsp. salt or more to taste
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 clove garlic (optional)
    2 or 3 large onions, sliced
    1 tsp. liquid smoke
    1 tsp. Texas Pete (optional)
    1 bottle Kraft original barbecue sauce
Preparation
    Trim all tough membranes from meat.
    In Dutch oven, cover meat with water.
    Add salt, pepper, garlic and onions.
    Cook 2 to 3 hours, simmering until tender.
    Remove to roasting pan.
    Use liquid smoke, Texas Pete and barbecue sauce combined in blender. Cover meat with sauce in pan and cover with foil to seal pan. Cook for 45 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Foil may be removed for additional browning.
    May use for pork roast; very good.
