Zucchini Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fresh zucchini, sliced thin
    2 small onions, cut in 1/4 and sliced thin
    1/4 c. pickling salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery salt
    1 tsp. turmeric
    2 tsp. mustard seed
    3 c. cider vinegar
Preparation
    Wash and slice\tzucchini
    and onions; cover with 1-inch cold water.
    Add salt
    and
    let\tstand
    for
    2
    hours.
    Drain. Combine remaining ingredients
    and bring to a boil.
    Pour over zucchini and onions.
    Let stand for 2 hours.
    Bring mixture to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Pack in hot pint jars.
