M&M'S Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. plain M&M's candies, divided

Preparation

Blend shortening and sugar.
Beat in vanilla and eggs.
Sift remaining dry ingredients together; add to sugar mixture and mix well.
Stir in 1 cup M&M's.
Reserve remaining candy for decorating.
Drop from a teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Decorate the tops of the cookies with remaining candies.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
