Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 large onions
    12 oz. can tomato paste
    2 (28 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    2 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes, cut up
    1 Tbsp. oregano or to taste
    2 Tbsp. basil or to taste (more for sweeter)
    1 to 2 tsp. garlic or to taste
Preparation
    Simmer onions in oil; brown some.
    Pour in tomato paste and brown (7 to 8 minutes), stirring constantly.
    Add rest of ingredients and simmer for 2 to 3 hours.
