"Granny" Hash Browns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hash browns, thawed
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. margarine, melted
    2 Tbsp. onion, chopped
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can cream of potato soup
    1 c. sour cream
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. corn flake crumbs
Preparation
    Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Combine potatoes, salt, 1/4 cup margarine, onion, pepper, soup, sour cream and milk in a bowl. Pour into pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 or 350\u00b0 in a glass pan, for 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle with cheese; dot with 1/4 cup margarine and sprinkle with corn flake crumbs.
    Bake 20 minutes longer.
