Hidden Treasure Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. (3 oz.) strawberry jello
    1 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, partially thawed
    1 (10 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    3 medium bananas, mashed
    1/2 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
    1 (10 oz.) unbaked cheesecake mix
Preparation
    Dissolve jello and pour in fruit and nuts.
    Pour half of mixture into 9 x 13 pan.
    Chill until firm.
    Store other mixture at room temperature.
    Prepare cheesecake according to package directions.
    Spoon over chilled filling.
    Top with remaining jello mixture and chill.
