Chess Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cream the butter.
    Add sugar gradually, then add unbeaten eggs, one at a time.
    Stir well.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour into uncooked pie shell.
    Bake for 10 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Reduce heat to 250\u00b0 and bake 35 minutes longer.
