Sicilian Meat Roll - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
3/4 c. Italian bread crumbs
1/2 c. tomato sauce
2 Tbsp. parsley
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. each salt and pepper
1 clove garlic
2 lb. ground beef or turkey
8 thin slices boiled ham
6 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
3 slices Mozzarella cheese, cut diagonally
Preparation

Combine all ingredients but cheese and ham.
On wax paper or foil, pat meat into a 12 x 10-inch rectangle.
Arrange ham on top and then sprinkle shredded cheese over ham.
Starting from the short end, roll up meat (using the paper to lift).
Seal ends and edges.
Place seam side down in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
Place cheese wedges on top and return to oven for 5 minutes.
Serves 8.
