Tin Roof Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. Honey Nut cereal
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream (approximately)
    crushed salted peanuts and chocolate syrup (for garnish)
Preparation
    Put in 9-inch round pie dish the cereal, syrup and peanut butter.
    Press firmly to make crust.
    Then add vanilla ice cream to fill.
    Sprinkle with crushed salted peanuts.
    Freeze.
    Let set out a few minutes before serving.
    Top with chocolate syrup, if desired.
