Phyllis' Chicken And Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    chicken pieces
    oil
    4 cans cream of mushroom soup
    2 to 3 cans English peas
    bay leaves
Preparation
    Brown chicken in oil, about 10 minutes.
    Spread cans of cream of mushroom soup in
    13 x 9-inch baking dish.
    Layer cans of English peas over soup.
    Top with chicken pieces, placing a bay leaf under each one.
    Bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours (covered) until chicken is done and sauce is thick.
