Congo Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Beat together brown sugar, eggs and vegetable oil.
    Mix in chocolate chips, nuts and vanilla.
    Add flour, baking powder and salt.
    Continue beating until mixture is well mixed.
    Spread in 9 x 16-inch jelly roll pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Let cool before removing from pan.
    Cut into bars.
