German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 8 medium potatoes, boiled and peeled
3 green onions, diced
1 stalk celery, finely chopped
1/4 tsp. celery seed
8 slices bacon
1/2 c. water
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation

Boil potatoes and put in large bowl with green onions, celery and celery seed.
Cut bacon into small pieces and fry until crisp. Do not drain.
Add flour gradually, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Add vinegar, water and sugar, stirring until smooth. Immediately pour mixture over potatoes and mix well.
