Marinated Mushrooms And Broccoli - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    about 1 1/2 lb. broccoli
    3/4 lb. mushrooms, thinly sliced
    1 c. thinly green onions
    1 c. thinly sliced celery
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. paprika
    1 c. salad oil
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cut broccoli flowerets; cut in bite-size pieces.
    Trim and discard tough stalk ends.
    Peel remaining stalks and stems, then cut diagonally into 1/2-inch thick slices.
    Place on a rack over boiling water in a pan (about 5 quarts).
    Cover and steam on high heat until barely tender-crisp, 1 or 2 minutes.
    Immerse in ice water until cold.
    Drain well.
