Bread Crumb Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. dark Karo or molasses
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. pecans
    1/4 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    2 c. bread crumbs or cake crumbs
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar.
    Add beaten egg, Karo and buttermilk, mixed with soda, then raisins and nuts mixed with flour, cinnamon and cloves.
    Then add bread crumbs.
    Mix all together well.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer.
    Serve hot or cold.
    Lemon Sauce is optional.
