Toasted Crabmeat Rounds - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) can crabmeat
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
    1 Tbsp. green onion tops, finely chopped
    1 Tbsp. dry sherry
    1/4 tsp. tarragon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
    paprika to taste
Preparation
    Drain and flake crabmeat with a fork or your fingers and set aside.
    Put all the remaining ingredients in a blender.
    Cover and blend on high speed for 20 seconds, stopping to scrape down the sides of the blender.
    Combine and mix together the sauce and crabmeat.
    Pile on whole wheat or rye bread rounds and sprinkle top with paprika.
    Broil until crabmeat starts to brown, around 7 minutes.
    Remove from broiler.
    Place on serving dish and serve immediately.
    Makes 1 cup or about 16 rounds.
